摘要: Summary Cassava is a basic staple and major source of farm income for the people sub-Saharan Africa. Efficiency in cassava marketing therefore becomes very important determinant both consumer’s living cost producer’s income. At farmer’s level, which beginning chain, food must produced reasonable quantity to attract enough market participants that will make efficient distribution. The use price policy stimulate short-run marketed surplus producing households has often been questioned. This because some are deficit producers who purchase crops they also produce. Increasing producer prices have adverse distributional effects on buying, while bypassing autarkic households.
