摘要: Lithium (Li) exploitation for industrial and domestic use is resulting in a buildup of the element various environmental components that results potential toxicity to living systems. Therefore, soil culture experiment was conducted evaluate effects increasing concentration Li (0, 20, 40, 60, 80 mg kg-1 soil) on spinach growth, uptake, its physiological attributes crop. The showed lower levels (20 kg-1) improve growth plants, while higher applied enhanced pigment contents. Higher concentrations interfered with potassium calcium uptake plants. Moreover, resulted activities antioxidant enzymes activity shoots. From these results, it concluded shoot accumulated without showing any visual symptoms. study concludes ion mostly deposited leaves rather than roots which may cause human health risk consumption Li-contaminated cultivation leafy vegetables Li-affected soils should be avoided reduce risks.
