摘要: Dipeptidyl peptidase 9 (DPP9) is encoded by DPP9, which belongs to the DPP4 gene family. Proteins these genes have unique and extra-enzymatic functions that been linked various diseases including cancers. Here, we describe expression pattern biological function of DPP9 in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The repression small interfering RNA inhibited cell proliferation, migration, invasion. Moreover, explored role regulating epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). epithelial markers E-cadherin MUC1 were significantly increased, while mesenchymal vimentin S100A4 markedly decreased knockdown cells. downregulation NSCLC cells induced apoptosis-associated proteins both vitro vivo. We investigated protein levels tissue microarray immunohistochemical assay (TMA-IHC) (n = 217). Further found mRNA 30 pairs clinical tissues lower than adjacent non-cancerous tissues. Survival analysis showed overexpression was a significant independent factor for poor 5-year overall survival patients with (p 0.003). Taken together, correlates NSCLC.
