摘要: The status of sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) is decisive in staging, prognosis, and therapeutic approach. Using an ultrasonographic examination algorithm composed B-mode, Doppler technique, contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) elastography, this study aimed to determine the diagnostic performance four techniques compared histopathological examination. 96 SLNs belonging 71 female dogs with mammary gland carcinomas were examined. After examinations, mastectomy lymphadenectomy performed. Histopathological confirmed presence metastases 54 SLNs. elasticity score had highest accuracy—89.71%, identifying 88.9.9% sensitivity (SE) 90.5% specificity (SP), ROC analysis providing excellent results. S/L (short axis/long axis) ratio showed 83.3% SE 78.6% SP as a predictor SLN having good accuracy 81.2%. On examination, resistivity index(RI) 80% characterizing versus unaffected ones; same results being obtained by CEUS By assigning each parameter (0 or 1) summing up scores techniques, we best node 92.2% accuracy. In conclusion, use presented provides identification SLNs, helping carcinoma staging appropriate management.
