摘要: Fluorescein dispersion in two rectangular microchannels with different width-to-depth ratios is studied experimentally. The flow laminar, and no-slip boundary condition satisfied. Factors that may influence the experimental results are discussed aid of three-dimensional numerical simulation. Numerical simulation indicates serpentine configuration detection location have negligible effect on coefficient under current conditions. Experimental were compared theoretical for channels same as actual microchannels. The comparison theories provide a good prediction behavior while other using approximate solutions mass transfer equation inaccurate. parallel-plate large reported literature also results. An obvious deviation observed. These expected to help design micro gas chromatographic columns or devices.
