摘要: Abstract This study demonstrates that the addition of 4 wt% Al to Mg-7Sn-1Zn alloy effectively promotes dynamic recrystallization and precipitation behaviors during extrusion significantly improves tensile properties extruded alloy. The dramatically increases area fraction dynamically recrystallized (DRXed) grains is mainly attributed particle-stimulated nucleation effect induced by undissolved Mg2Sn particles, increased amount grain boundaries owing refinement billet, increase in stress applied extrusion. fine precipitates also with addition, an number sites for precipitation; this, turn, leads a reduction size through enhanced grain-boundary pinning caused precipitates. As result, compressive strengths considerably improved which due combined effects solute atoms, more precipitates, reduced size. Furthermore, suppresses formation twins—which can act as cracking sites—during deformation; this results considerable elongation
