Incidence and Progression of Coronary Artery Disease

摘要: The incidence and progression of coronary artery disease was investigated in 1,263 patients. Clinical diagnosis significant not confirmed by cine arteriography 32% males 63% females. Silent, clinically detected 6% 3% females studied for other reasons. False-positive clinical diagnoses are common, especially females, while silent (false-negatives) is uncommon. Serial angiograms demonstrated the progressed 78% patients affected at inception study; 95% with normal arteries remained free during observation period (up to 11, average 3 years).
