摘要: Immunological status and respiratory function were studied in a group of 64 wool textile workers (52 women 12 men). A 46 not exposed to dust served as control for the symptoms immunologic testing. Skin testing was performed with different allergens (domestic Australian) well common allergens. Ventilatory capacity measured on Mondays before after work shift. The prevalence positive skin tests all higher than workers, although difference statistically significant only washed domestic (wool workers: 42.2%; 19.6%; p < 0.05). Increased serum IgE levels more frequent (26.6%) (3.1%) (p 0.01). In there high acute chronic symptoms. Significant across-shift reductions ventilatory tests, abnormal baseline lung function, recorded workers. Individual data demonstrated that many had FEF25 lower 70% predicted. general, abnormalities did correlate results specific (wool) tests. Our indicate exposure some may be associated development impairment function. Immunologic abnormalities, this group, do appear severity these changes.
