摘要: Symptoms of byssinosis were found in 39% 102 female hemp workers who nonsmokers. A higher prevalence chronic bronchitis (P < 0.01) was with symptoms than those without such symptoms. In workers, either or byssinosis, FEV1.0 and FVC significantly decreased during work on the study days, Mondays Thursdays; lower reductions registered Thursdays. Inhalation metaproterenol sulfate (Alupent) before diminished reduction, although not completely preventing it. Metaproterenol inhalation after increased FEV1.0, indicating reversibility acute lung function changes work. Comparison values measured obtained control group indicates a effect dust ventilatory function.
