A guidewire-assisted endoscopic knife-cutting salvage technique for near-total esophageal obstruction

摘要: There are many potential strategies for endoscopic treatment of benign esophageal strictures. However, total strictures still remain difficult to treat. We report a case 53-year-old woman with near-total stricture multiple webs and postoperative stenosis. A guidewire-assisted cutting method dilation technique were used obstruction in relatively long segment patient Plummer–Vinson syndrome. This shows that balloon plus may be an effective salvage therapy when performed by experienced endoscopists.
