摘要: The Oriental face is generally mesocephalic: short and wide. Thus the prominent zygoma in relation to a flat nose will make seem flatter. unfavorable social connotations associated with are reality Korea. Reduction not only relieve patient of such psychological burdens but also afford cheerful youthful appearance. few patients seek surgery for these reasons. Previously, chiseling or burring body arch was frequently used reduction usually less than effective reducing wide face. Segmental osteotomy repositioning by means bicoronal approach another method, this involved an extensive operation left long visible scar. We felt that methods were ideal as aesthetic procedures. A simple yet method needed. performed 26 shaving displacing zygomatic inwardly after two-point fracturing, green-stick fracture anteriorly, complete posteriorly small preauricular upper buccal sulcus incision. obtained satisfactory results using relatively procedure. advantages our technique follows: (1) there skin incision resulting inconspicuous scar, (2) effective, (3) no use foreign bodies wires miniplates, (4) postoperative discomfort.
