摘要: Abstract A survey of temperature measurements from OH rotation vibration bands (Meinel system) by different observers is given. Methods measurement are discussed. It pointed out that the temperatures given some have to be corrected because an incorrect rotational constant has been used. New data obtained at As, Norway, confirm earlier observations and yield a atmospheric OH-emitting layer about 220°K this geographical latitude (59.7°N). The observers' discussed with view ascertaining if alleged effect real. concluded fairly latitudes between 40 60° N mean value 220° K seems rise northwards say 60°, reaching approximately 300°K 75°N.
