摘要: The present work was designed to explore the functionality of Pakistani date cultivar (Zahidi) against atherogenic diet induced oxidative stress. bioefficacy assessment Zahidi fruit and extract carried out via model feeding trial. rats (Sprague Dawley) were divided into two broad categories; one fed with normal diet, whereas other induce formulated groups G(1) (normal diet), G(2) (date + G(3) G(4) (atherogenic G(5) diet) G(6) diet). results showed that reduced 3.65% senun cholesterol in rats, 15.14% while, treatment resulted 4.49 18.55% reduction respectively. Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) by 8.66 11.55% rats. respectively, while 21.05 25.98% reductions noted extract, To assess extent cardiac risk subjects, several ratios calculated based on serum lipid parameters. analysis at higher than ones, containing functional diets effectively ameliorated elevated ratios. extract-based intensified superoxide dismutase (SOD) catalase (CAT) levels throughout study up 29.05 27.99%, Date lowered peroxidation 13.64 33.67% Conclusively, proved effectual modulating profile restored SOD CAT alongside reducing peroxidation.
