摘要: Xenolith digestion during sinking in a corrosive magma is treated with surface-controlled dissolution relation suggested from recent experiments on silicate crystals. The shown to apply wide range of dynamical regimes analog NaCl water. Using this relation, xenolith penetration by into magmas be strongly dependent size. Crystal unimportant but meter-sized chunks can major process mass and heat transport planetary-scale body evolution. This evolution cannot adequately current information.
