Scaling relations for the slippery ballistic growth model

摘要: Abstract A slippery ballistic growth model is introduced in which deposited particles stick with probability ps to the sides of existing columns. Numerical simulations 1 + dimensions show that while this belongs KPZ universality class, it also exhibits a short-time scaling regime during width region obeys power law w ∼ t 2 before crossing over behavior. The crossover times between three regimes both scale sticking as ps−1. interface at saturation ws found ps, addition its substrate size.
