摘要: The brain transcriptome of Alzheimer's disease (AD) reflects the prevailing mechanism at gene expression level. However, thousands genes have been reported to be dysregulated in AD brains existing studies, and consistency or discrepancy among these studies has not thoroughly examined. Toward this end, we conducted a comprehensive survey datasets for other neurological diseases. We first demonstrated that frequency observed dysregulation was highly correlated with reproducibility dysregulation. Based on observation, selected 100 highest illustrate core perturbation brains. validated several independent AD. further identified 12 strong correlation progression. relevance progression also an dataset. Interestingly, found transcriptional "cushion" less vulnerable visual cortex region, which may critical component protection regions.
