摘要: Practicing engineers regularly impact people and communities through their designs, yet the integration of social technical factors in engineering education is often lacking or absent. This paper describes initial justice into an introductory feedback control class at a public four-year university. We begin with description purpose scope integration. Next, we report on our assessment results, focusing data acquired assignments, focus groups, individual interviews students. Focus group interview indicate that students “switch gears” between studies because these two concepts are treated as separate, unrelated entities. gear switching can make elements more difficult, but also offers opportunities for deeper learning better preparation profession.
