摘要: In the present study expression of insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I; somatomedin C) immunoreactivity was examined in endothelial cells during repair after injury to intima femoral artery adult rats. Two types were examined: (1) denudation induced by use a catheter, and (2) vessel compression short-term ligation. untreated rats, arterial showed no or, only infrequently, low IGF-I their cytoplasm. Endothelial at border denuded area increased one day artery. Thrombocytes fibrin deposits as well vital cells, covered clots, immunonegative. The maximal intensity reached within 3 days insult. remained elevated for least 4 weeks, compared controls. Intimai thickenings appeared week many these intense did covering cells. Smooth muscle media generally immunonegative control conditions denudation. Spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) showed, similarly matched controls (WKY), approximately same patterns both under normal injury. It is concluded that likely be involved injured arteries.
