摘要: The relationships among nine different isolates of Penicillium crustosum were studied by pyrolysis-gas chromatography (Py-GC) coupled with a pattern recognition analysis (PR). results obtained compared to mycotoxin production profiles the isolates. Based on Py-GC analyses could be divided into two well-differentiated groups, and one these groups further subdivided. three groups: group (P. sensu stricto) in which fungi produced penitrem A, roquefortine C, terrestric acid, ("P. caseiphilum" = P. camembertii II) producing cyclopiazonic third melanochlorum" mali) none toxins. Basically, Py-GC-PR grouping agreed profile grouping, although agreement was not perfect. taxonomic treatment strains as species thus seems unsatisfactory. method appears quite useful aid establishing criteria for studies between related fungi.
