摘要: Rapid prototypes formed using stereolithography (SL) method have to undergo post‐curing increase their strength and rigidity. This study attempts reduce, if not eliminate, post‐cure distortion by characterising curing behaviours. Curing (both heat UV initiated) characteristics of an acrylic‐based photopolymer under actual fabrication conditions were studied Raman spectroscopy as well differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) photo‐calorimetry (DSP). Specimens single lines created a SL machine. was used quantify the percentage at different areas on cross‐section these lines. percentages before after also obtained from experiments. Difference in gave indication distortions faced. It found that uncured partially cured resins trapped within resulted inhomogeneity specimens causing shrinkage distortion.
