摘要: We have exposed single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) to microwave-generated N2 plasma with the aim functionalize nanotubes. The results strongly depend on distance between discharge source and sample, since nitrogen atoms generated can be lost due recombination. No functionalization was observed when this 7.0 cm. At intermediate distances (2.5 cm), incorporation of oxygen onto SWCNT observed, while, at short (1 products containing C⋮N were also observed.
