摘要: This research project evaluated the changes in serum cortisol six male and female alpacas response to transportation of short duration. All were subjected trailer for 30min. Serum samples obtained prior transportation, immediately after a 4-h recovery period. Heart rate was recorded at each time interval observations individual behavioural characteristics recorded. Data analysed using analysis variance. not significantly changed by stress. concentration higher but had returned baseline Behavioural associated with concentration.
