Oxygen-loss in A-site deficient Sr0.85La0.10TiO3 perovskite

摘要: The electrical properties of Sr1−3xLa2xTiO3 ceramics (x = 0.05, LST) change dramatically with sintering temperature and atmosphere. Ceramics sintered at 1200 °C in both O2 N2 exhibit near intrinsic band-type conduction bulk conductivity ∼10−7 S cm−1 500 activation energy for conduction, Ea ∼1.6–1.8 eV. LST 1450 much higher (>10−4 −50 °C) an ∼ 0.16 For N2, the was too high to be measured by impedance spectroscopy even 10 K. In addition, heterogeneity is observed pellets under where pellet outer surfaces are more resistive than inner regions ceramic. defect chemistry Sr0.85La0.10TiO3 perovskite discussed based on chemical doping oxygen-loss mechanisms we highlight importance A-site vacancies mechanism La-doped ST-based ceramics.
