摘要: Objective: This investigation was designed to improve behavioral weight loss program (BWLP) treatment outcomes by providing stepped care (SC) individuals experiencing difficulties with during treatment. SC entails transition more intensive treatments when less fail meet goals. In a BWLP, motivational interviewing (MI) may increase participants' motivation toward change and thus complement the acquisition of skills. It hypothesized that BWLP + participants (i.e., who failed goals received MI) would demonstrate superior compared (SC matched) but did not receive MI). Design: Fifty-five obese, sedentary adults were randomly assigned or BWLP.
