摘要: Abstract A comparative study was experimentally performed on the explosion characteristics of four pentanol isomer–air mixtures (n-pentanol, 3-methyl-1-butanol, 2-methyl-1-butanol, 2-methyl-2-butanol), at various initial temperatures and pressures. The parameters pressure, maximum rate pressure rise, combustion duration development period were measured. influence conditions discussed. Results show that peak is linear function reciprocal temperature, but rise insensitive to temperature variation. With elevated from 0.1 0.25 MPa, increases significantly, increase decelerated when further increased. Among mixtures, in order n-pentanol, 3-methyl-1-butanol 2-methyl-2-butanol, decrease while flame increase, reflecting decreasing speed. Difference among isomers tends be decreased for increased with pressure. Pressure oscillation occurs rich mixture high resulting short duration, influencing little.
