摘要: Publisher Summary The nerve growth cone is the irregularly shaped terminal enlargement of a growing neurite. It its leading edge that endowed with capacity finding path to appropriate target area and forming synapse an cell. Experimental findings indicate cones contain protein kinase activities resemble those synaptosomes qualitatively. However, major quantitative differences exist. Particularly striking simple pattern substrates calcium-dependent kinases. Three these substrates, pp40, pp46, pp80, and/or their phosphorylation are developmentally regulated. Thus, they candidates for molecules involved in regulation. prominent role C proteins further significance. Protein has been implicated number growth-regulatory processes, as well leukocyte chemotaxis. These functions can be expected have equivalents because primary factor effects appear occur at this site, least case factor-sensitive peripheral neurons.
