摘要: Abstract Skull-base surgery is characterized by the variety of important neural and vascular structures within a narrow operating field. Although preoperative imaging computed tomography (CT) magnetic resonance (MRI) use microsurgical techniques have improved intraoperative orientation, large number complications still are caused localization problems. Especially in pediatric skull-base surgery, maximum accuracy during required. The authors developed localizing system based on tomographic (such as CT or MRI) to achieve safer providing highly accurate location information. preliminary successful experience Aachen computer-assisted device for (14 cases) presented. Indications include juvenile angiofibroma nasopharynx, infectious tumorous diseases paranasal sinuses, orbital tumors, foreign bodies, intracranial abscess formation.
