摘要: The aim of this study was to examine the effects voluntary wheel-running (WR) on body weight (BW), waist circumference, mesenteric fat mass (MFM), adipocyte size, circulating cytokines/hormones, blood pressure (BP) and exercise endurance capacity in 11-month-old normal rats. Three-week WR with about 0.2 km daily running distance caused a gradual loss BW despite an increased intake food/water. MFM decreased as increased. Moreover, there positive correlation between BW, circumference or size. On other hand, significantly systolic/diastolic BPs, capacity. rat sera contained lower concentrations angiotensin II, aldosterone, vasopressin endothelin-1 higher concentration brain natriuretic peptide compared sedentary sera. Thus, WR-induced reduction resting BPs may be accomplished by attenuated vasoconstriction, enhanced vasodilatation volume. In addition, vascular endothelial growth factor interleukin-6 were rats, suggesting angiogenesis, anti-inflammation insulin-sensitization. These results support prevalent idea that light-exercise is potential strategy for preventing metabolic syndrome.
