摘要: Low profile antennas are very useful in applications such as missile, aircraft, cellular and satellites, because these types of applications, some commonly important constraints cost, size, weight, performance easy installation. Microstrip patch antenna fits quite comfortably this category.This thesis work aimed to design the dual band microstrip arrays operating at frequencies 3.5 GHz 5.0 GHz. Two schemes were used array which is with same size alternating size. Different configuration 2, 4, 8 16 elements designed simulated Agilent Inc EDA tool ADS using Roger RO4350B substrate a height 1.524 mm, transmission-line model was for analysis. Array 4 fabricated, results measured help network analyzer Lab. Distinct parameters studied VSWR, impedance bandwidth, gain, directivity, radiation efficiency, axial ratio pattern evaluate antennas. Focusing on bandwidth it can be claimed that have better compared single designed.
