摘要: New charts are presented showing the average temperature and salinity at a depth of 200 meters in North Atlantic. These compared with published by Wust Defant 1936 it is shown that, over most ocean, conditions nearly constant this depth. Attention focused on areas changing where major ocean currents exist. It that important details obscured averaging process. The range observed charted supplements information given charts. standard deviation from mean temperature, calculated for two portions Gulf Stream System, indicates when more observations available such calculations may be use studying current systems.
