摘要: Mineral dust-induced gene, mdig has recently been identified and is known to be overexpressed in a majority of human cancers holds predictive power the poor prognosis disease. Mdig an environmentally expressed gene that involved cell proliferation, neoplastic transformation immune regulation. With advancement deciphering prognostic role cancers, our understanding on how renders normal undergo malignant still very limited. This article reviews current knowledge context neoplasias its relation clinico-pathologic factors predicting outcome disease patients. It also emphasizes promising can serve as potential candidate for biomarker discovery therapeutic target inflammation cancers. Considering recent advances underlying mechanisms tumor formation, more preclinical clinical research required validate using novel biological diagnostic value. Summary Expression level influences several especially breast lung. Evaluation offer with interventions early assessment cancer development
