Motivation for participating in leisure activities: a survey amongst individuals within a corporate environment

摘要: Since individuals within the working population represents a great purchasing power, it is important for marketer to know what motivate these participate in leisure activities. The main aim of study determine whether level activity present leisure, age or gender play role their motivation This especially useful from South African perspective. A self-administered survey was conducted amongst corporate company Johannesburg and Sandton Gauteng Province.. Contrary previous academic research, neither nor an individual plays significant (either intrinsic extrinsic) It may therefore indicate that participates dependant on other factors. might implicate marketers need not adjust marketing communication with prospective clients incorporate difference (gender age).
