摘要: With genomic data, alignments can be assembled that greatly increase the number of informative sites for analysis molecular divergence dates. Here, we present an estimate dates all major primate groups. These date estimates are based on a Bayesian approximately 59.8 kbp data from 13 primates and 6 mammalian outgroups, using range paleontologically supported calibration estimates. Results support Cretaceous last common ancestor extant (approximately 77 mya), Eocene between platyrrhine catarrhine 43 Oligocene origin apes Old World monkeys 31 early Miocene 18 mya) Asian African great apes. examined in context other clock studies.
