摘要: Abstract The recycling of plasma membrane glycoproteins to the Golgi complex is well established, but it not clear which subcompartments receive this traffic. To date, into trans-Golgi compartment that contains sialyltransferase and early region alpha-mannosidase I has been demonstrated. However, transport other compartments reported. In study we tested return cell surface galactosyltransferase using ldlD mutant Chinese hamster ovary cells. cation-independent mannose 6-phosphate/insulin-like growth factor-II receptor recycled through with a half-time 4 h was transported as well. Because sialyltransferases are probably located in different regions cells, these results suggest two each traffic or enter one then other. extent protein also studied. At least 10 were from region. Moreover, our make up 12-25% flux compartment; balance comprised newly made glycoproteins.
