摘要: The following study assessed changes in macrophage responsiveness after a 24-h period of psychological disturbance mother and infant squirrel monkeys. Utilizing luminol-dependent assay, an 80-min chemiluminescent burst was measured blood monocytes response to zymosan stimulation. Cells obtained from stressed mothers infants showed significant increases chemiluminescence (CL) as compared baseline levels. Moreover, the elevated pattern persisted for at least 2 weeks were reunited. initial change CL associated with increased pituitary-adrenal activity leukocyte redistribution, but these measures returned normal levels reunion. Thus, this has demonstrated prolonged immune parameter transient alteration psycho-endocrine status host.
