摘要: Emotional stress can be viewed as a cause of adverse circumstances that induces wide range biochemical and behavioural changes. Oxidative is critical route damage in various psychological stress-induced disorders such depression. Antidepressants are widely prescribed to treat these conditions; however, no animal study has investigated the effect selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) on levels intracellular reactive oxygen species peripheral blood leucocytes stressed mice. In this study, mice were immobilized for period 6hr. Fluoxetine (5mg/kg body-weight) was administered 30min. before subjecting animals acute stress. The level using 2',7'-dichlorofluorescein diacetate probe, antioxidant response fluoxetine evaluated by superoxide dismutase, diaphorase, catalase reduced glutathione. Our results show restraint significantly increases generation defence cells. Treatment with partially reverses effects improvement cellular oxidative status may an important mechanism underlying protective pharmacological fluoxetine, which clinically observed treatment depressive disorders. © 2011 Authors.
