摘要: Hepatitis D virus (HDV) is a satellite of hepatitis B (HBV) for transmission and propagation, infects nearly 20 million people worldwide. The HDV genome composed compact circular single-stranded negative RNA with extensive intramolecular complementarity. Along epidemiological, geographic distribution pathological patterns, the variability has been limited to three genotypes two subtypes that have characterized date. Recently, phylogenetic reconstructions based on delta antigen gene full-length sequence data, shown wide probably ancient radiation African lineages, suggesting genetic much more complex than previously thought. Indeed, sequences affiliated genotype IIb should now be considered as belonging clade 4 (HDV-4) segregate within four additional clades: HDV-5, HDV-6, HDV-7 HDV-8. These results bring closer its helper HBV.
