摘要: A new fluorescent derivative of d-glucose, 2-[N-(7-nitrobenz-2-oxa-1,3-diazol-4-yl)amino]-2-deoxy-d-glucose (2-NBDG), which had been previously developed for the analysis glucose uptake activity by living cells, was investigated to evaluate its applicability assaying viability yeast Candida albicans. Lineweaver-Burk plots showed 2-NBDG be competitively inhibited d-glucose and not l-glucose, suggested involvement transporting system C. albicans in 2-NBDG. good correlation obtained between viability, determined plate-count method, cells (correlation constant: r=0.97). This is expected lead development a probe determination cell viability.
