摘要: Background: Symptoms and signs of thyrotoxicosis are nonspecific assessing its clinical status is difficult with conventional physical examinations history taking. Increased heart rate (HR) one the easiest to quantify this, current wearable devices can monitor HR. Objective: We assessed association between thyroid function resting HR measured by a activity tracker (WD-rHR) evaluated feasibility using this method in patients thyrotoxicosis. Methods: Thirty 10 controls were included study. Participants instructed use during study period so that data could be collected. The primary outcomes verification changes WD-rHR treatment associations function. Linear logistic model generalized estimating equation analyses performed results compared conventionally obtained clinic visits (on-site HR) Hyperthyroidism Symptom Scale. Results: was higher thyrotoxic than control groups decreased improvement A standard deviation–increase about 11 beats per minute (bpm) associated increase serum free T4 levels (beta=.492, 95% CI 0.367-0.616, P<.001) risk (odds ratio [OR] 3.840, 2.113-6.978, P<.001). Although Scale showed similar WD-rHR, 1 SD-increase on-site rHR (about 16 minute) relatively lower beta OR (beta=.396, 0.204-0.588, P<.001; 2.114, 1.365-3.273, WD-rHR. Conclusions: Heart device reasonable predictability This simple, easy-to-measure parameter clinically feasible has potential manage dysfunction.
