摘要: Magnesium is the lightest and one of most abundant elements in universe. In addition, magnesium possesses several other benefits like excellent castability, high damping capacity, good electromagnetic shielding, machinability. These inherent characteristics magnesium-based materials ensure fuel economy, reduced CO2 emissions, a greener earth. Furthermore, as are almost 35% lighter than aluminum-based materials, tremendous surge demand over next 5 years expected. One way which engineering capabilities its alloys can further be enhanced to use composite technology. The addition nanoparticles, for example, leads tensile, compressive, fatigue, creep, dynamic, tribological, corrosion properties. amorphous hollow reinforcements also enhance targeted mechanical/physical Accordingly, present study will highlight key An attempt made summarize on size effects type such metallic or ceramic microstructural mechanical properties monolithic pure magnesium.
