摘要: Abstract The effects of prey distribution and digestion on the functional response an invertebrate predator Harmonia axyridis (Pallas) to varying densities Aphis citricola (van der Goot) were investigated. Experiments conducted in petri dish wind tunnels with multiple plants present conditions which could behave more naturally. To discriminate if H. is or handling limited, numbers aphids consumed measured at five time-points during a 24 h period all assays. In tunnel, aphid consumption was two types distributions (aggregate uniform). Type 2 responses observed three tunnel assays uniformly distributed (6, 12 24 h). Based Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) value, type 1 most appropriate for (1 2 h) aggregate tunnels. There significant effect its interactions experiment duration density number tunnel. between uniform treatments mostly overlapped except when above 90. This indicates that affect foraging under relative high densities. Prey risk raised as increase treatments, while attack rates times differed significantly among different experimental lengths, thus process limit predation axyridis. Our results indicate alter predator-prey capacity this generalist suppress aphids.
