A Historical Survey

摘要: In this chapter we give an informal discussion of the history problem absolute stability from early formulation by Lurye to recent development method integral-quadratic constraints. The important milestones were resolving equations Lurye, Popov criterion, and Kalman-Yakubovich Lemma. criterion includes its application Aizerman for retarded systems. We also discuss most developments 1960s 1970s, especially so-called (or Zames-Falb) multipliers. concludes with a some historical applications analysis.
