摘要: We searched for quantitative trait loci (QTL) affecting upper temperature tolerance (UTT) in crosses between the Nauyuk Lake and Fraser River strains of Arctic charr (Salvelinus alpinus) using survival analysis. Two QTL were detected by two microsatellite markers after correcting experiment-wide error. A comparative mapping approach localized these to homologous linkage groups containing UTT rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Additional marginal associations several families regions those with trout. Thus, genes underlying may antedate divergence species, which occurred approximately 16 MYA. The data also indicate that one pair homeologs (ancestrally duplicated chromosomal segments) have contained since evolution salmonids from a tetraploid ancestor 25-100 This study represents first examples an animal polyploid group illustrates fate genome duplication reorganization.
