摘要: In the present work, effect of ethanol addition to gasoline on regulated and unregulated emissions is studied. A 4-cylinder OPEL 1.6 L internal combustion engine equipped with a hydraulic brake dynamometer was used in all experiments. For exhaust treatment typical three-way catalyst used. Among various compounds detected emissions, following ones were monitored at outlet: methane, hexane, ethylene, acetaldehyde, acetone, benzene, 1,3-butadiene, toluene, acetic acid ethanol. Addition fuel up 10% w/w had as result an increase Reid vapour pressure fuel, which indicates indirectly increased evaporative while carbon monoxide tailpipe decreased. ethanol-containing fuels, acetaldehyde appreciably (up 100%), especially for containing 3% contrast, aromatics decreased by gasoline. Methane most resistant oxidation ethylene degradable compound over catalyst. Ethylene, methane main fuels after operation.
