摘要: Abstract This paper investigates the possibility of using garnet waste as river sand replacement in high-strength alkali-activated mortars (AAMs) containing fly ash (FA) and ground blast furnace slag (GBFS). The replacing was used at varying levels 0, 25, 50, 75, 100%, by weight. In this study, ratios binder to aggregate (B:A), alkaline activator solution (S:B) modulus (Ms) remained same all samples tested. tests conducted were slump flow, compressive strength, flexural drying-shrinkage, porosity, resistance acid, etc., which indicated impacts on mechanical durability performance characteristics AAMs. data revealed that level content increased AAMs, there a corresponding improvement workability said samples. Notably, when exceeded 25% tested samples, decrease strength comparison with control sample. Therefore, it would appear could act potential up maximum without any loss. It also meets need for cost-effective alternative is eco-friendly renewable resource. recommended spend garnets should be AAMs minimize environmental problems, cost natural resources depletion.
