摘要: This paper attempts to analyze the correlates of (1) aggregated and disaggregated indices common property forest management (CPFM) as perceived by households, (2) decision grow trees number grown with objective looking at effect CPFM. We used data collected in 2007 from a sample rural households Amhara region Ethiopia. While CPFM we varied across overall index its two sub-indices (management tools institutional characteristics) showed generally low level management. observed significant differences nature community forests sites, mainly driven population size, density, size forests. The results also that forests, reflected sub-indices, had positive association on-farm well grown. These suggest perceive more strict are likely on their farm those which do trees. A strong correlation between different suggests components being similar hence these were, this case, indistinguishable.
