摘要: Many applications could be implemented if very high speed communications systems were available. Although high-bandwidth network infrastructures exist today, the end-to-end throughput of actual is far less than what physical links can handle. An attempt made to identify bottlenecks in current architectures, and a framework outlined for design an architecture protocol suite high-speed metropolitan area networks (MANs). The status MAN architectural examined, performance limitations that are due architectures addressed. >
