摘要: Background The efficient production of bioethanol by Saccharomyces cerevisiae using lignocellulosic biomass as raw material depends on the fermentability hydrolysates. In this work evaluation kinetics ethanol S. enzymatic hydrolysates was performed and compared with diluted sugarcane molasses fermentation. Results A term for inhibition acetic acid added to a previous model, kinetic parameters were re-estimated model has been shown describe accurately new experiments distinct proportions fermentative media. Among all parameters, great reduction in μmax (from 0.437 0.37 h−1, at 34°C), increment Ypx 9.89 16.63 kg kg−1, 34°C) noted, which strongly affected fermentation. Conclusions The obtained differed very significantly from those molasses, shows that models developed first generation need be reformulated adapted second fermentation. The productivities achieved between 1 3 m-3 are considered acceptable alcoholic fermentations batch mode, showing good even without detoxification. © 2012 Society Chemical Industry
