摘要: Abstract Experimental data regarding heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop of water flow inside a plate exchanger with rough surface is investigated compared that obtained from smooth surface. Three commercial stainless steel corrugated plates symmetrical chevron angle 25° are used. The the arranged for single pass counter flow. test runs performed at Reynolds numbers ranging between 1300 3200 roughness 0.936 μm 3.312 μm. experimental results show increase in yields an 4.46% 17.95% 3.90% 19.24% respect to correlations predicting Nusselt number friction factor proposed.
