摘要: This second part of a systematic study the properties crosslinked-oriented gelatin involves effects orientation and water content on glass transition temperature Tgand melting behavior. The samples were same as those in preceding study, their temperatures determined by both differential scanning calorimetry dynamic mechanical thermal analysis. crosslinked which had been room-conditioned showed two temperatures: lower one was attributed to Tg water-plasticized gelatin, higher interpreted dried superimposed melting. A rather unusual situation arose because fact that Tm (217 230°C, respectively) are so similar. Using plasticizer not only decreases but produces imperfect crystallites melt below system. presence amorphous phase glassy state would presumably make it essentially impossible define point or crystallization normal manner, an equilibrium between crystalline phases.
